2. Refocus and renewal 1980s-90s As John documents, Peace Corps Ecuador refocused efforts on strengthening its impact, seeking new methods and leaving behind its free spirited approach of earlier decades for a more programmatic response to Ecuador's needs.

3. The new millenium John concludes his work looking at Peace Corps Ecuador's recent accomplishments and future direction.
